This company first focus on creating robots for movies.

 And then they were researching on making humanoid  robots and replicating them. Are they creating the robots for every thing, will this not bad for mankind. 

Companies are saying that robots are more perfect for any work , they do work with more precision decreasing the environmental and mistakes made by humans, also they say that this will increase the jobs in robotics industry. But it this decision is good, every people are made to work on robotics,  this is I don't know where world will led when every one is thinking of replacing human with robots in this increasing population era...

3 Tips for bidding on freelance projects on web

I have trying to get projects from elance.com and bidding for it since two months. I just got some tips from senior bidders and their tips worked out. i got my first project. So here I wanted to share that tips with all of you.

1. Bid on projects which are 1 day or more older. Then check out for the proposals. Bid only on those which have less proposals like two or three. Because when fresher bid on projects which have more than 20 proposal, they dont even read it because we are fresher and more senior ones already bid on it.

2. Explain what you understand about the project and also write what they actually need in full in your proposal. Also mention your work which you already done related to that project on which you are bidding.

3. Pay attention towards higest and lowest bid. Many people thinks that they got project if they bid low. But Actually its not like that. Try to bid for genuine amount according to project and within bid limmits.

Supercomputer "SAGA-220" launched

Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) Thiruvananthapuram developed 220 TFLOPS facility Supercomputer named "SAGA-220" (Supercomputer for Aerospace with GPU Architecture-220 TeraFLOPS) open source software components,commercially available hardware and in house developments. It costs around Rs 14 crore and was inaugurated by K Radhakrishnan, Chairman ISRO(Indian Space Research Organisation) at VSSC.

It uses 400 NVIDIA Tesla 2070 GPUs(Graphic processing units) and 400 Intel Quad Core Xeon CPUs which was supplied by WIPRO.GPU and CPU are providing a performance of 500 GigaFLOPS and 50 GigaFLOPS respectively. Peak performance of the system is around 220 TeraFLOPS.It can be scaled to many PetaFLOPS (1000 TeraFLOPS).The system is environmentally green and consumes 150 KW power only. It is being used by space scientists for solving complex aerospace problems.
